  • Welcome to the wonderful Trip to Himachal, it is the nothern state of India, tourist from all over the world love to come here again and again. Himachal is situated at southwestern foothills of the great Himalayan Mountain range. There many beautiful and breathtaking destinations of Himachal with snow-capped mountains, gushing rivers, valleys and forest with versatile wildlife. Shimla is the capital city of himachal pradesh and also the entry gate to himachal. Shimla is perfect to make a base camp for adventuous journey. Shimla is also near to New Delhi and with good connectivity to take on. If you want to make your journey Memorable then just do some homework on internet and travel blogs, then you will for sure enjoy the travel in a optimal way.

Himachal Pradesh is one of the the most sought after place for any tourist/traveler to be visited by, whether Indian or Foreigner. The two main reasons according to me are, first the scenic beauty of Mountains capped with snow and for Pilgrimage. The other things that prompt to visit that destination is easy connectivity by roads/railways/flights, to National capital New Delhi which is not so far from shimla, also the flourishing hospitality industry in shimla and other cities. Himachal Pradesh, is a northern Indian state in the Himalayas, people visit this place for adventure sports like trekking, climbing and skiing, and scenic mountain towns such as Dalhousie. Himachal Pradesh also has a strong Tibetan presence, reflected in its Buddhist temples and monasteries.

The main tourist locations of Himachal are located mainly in Shimla, Manali, Kullu, Dalhousie, Mandi, Kasauli. The Beas river, with its clear water gurgles  through the famous tourist destination, Manali. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, deodar and pine trees, tiny alpine fields, rocky slopes amid grassy meadows carpeted with wild flowers and fruit orchards across Kullu Valley.

The cold desert mountains, mighty glaciers, icy frozen lakes, high passes, snow capped peaks, spectacular monasteries and yaks - this region is marked by rich cultural traditions. The breathtaking adventurous terrain remains the prime destination for all nature and adventure lovers all over the world. Also known as the Outer Himalaya, Dhauladhar range begins from near Dalhousie of Himachal and extends as a necklace through the state to near the bank of the Beas river in the Kullu before ending near Badrinath. Its distinctive profile is best seen from the Kangra valley as it seem to shoot up vertically.

The best way to reach shimla is to go by train from delhi. There are lot of hotels in shimla from luxury 5 star to low budget, but if you plan it for New year time then better to do booking in advance.

Also the nearby places to visit for are, kufri, kamna devi, Mashobra, Chail, Tattapani, It is a great Vacation spot for honeymooners. It is also know as Queen of Mountains, you can avail the best travel and accommodation for comfortable stay at Trip to Himachal. Surrounded by hills and valleys with gushing rivers it is perfect base camp for trekkers, it is also the favorite destination for other adventure sports like kayaking, rafting at Tattapani etc. In winters you can ski in kufri and play golf at 9 hole Golf course of Naldehra. Journey to shimla is a complete bliss for the tourist.

The state has areas like Dharamsala that receive very heavy rainfall, as well as those like Lahaul and Spiti that are cold and almost rainless. Broadly, Himachal experiences three seasons: summer, winter, and rainy season.
